This work is mostly about not guessing. We use the right equipment for the situation and narrow the answer down before anybody opens a wall, a floor, or the ground.
2. You get a real number
Once we know what we are dealing with, you get a clear explanation and a real number for the repair. Diagnosis and repair are separate conversations so you are not pressured into one because of the other.
3. We do the work
Where the fix is straightforward we can usually handle it the same visit. Where it is bigger we lay out the options honestly, including the option of doing nothing yet if that is genuinely reasonable.
4. We check it and clean up
You get the findings in plain language, plus camera footage or documentation where it applies, so you have something concrete rather than a verbal summary you half remember later.
What changes the price on plumbing inspections
Every house is different, and anybody who quotes plumbing inspections over the phone without seeing it is telling you something about how they do business. Here is what genuinely moves the number:
- How accessible the work area is. A crawlspace or a slab is a very different job than an open utility closet.
- The condition of the surrounding system. Sound existing pipe makes a repair simple, corroded pipe means we are working carefully around fragile material.
- Materials and any equipment the job requires.
- Whether a permit and inspection apply, which they do more often than people expect.
- How much of the problem turns out to be behind what we can see from the start.

Why it is worth doing properly
Guessing is the expensive option. Opening walls, floors, or ground in the wrong place costs real money and does not fix anything. That is a much harder standard to meet than a marketing budget, and it is the reason we would rather talk you out of unnecessary work than sell it to you. Should I get a sewer camera before buying a house?
On any home over about twenty five years old, yes. A sewer line replacement is one of the most expensive surprises a new homeowner can inherit and a camera answers it in half an hour.
What do you actually check?
Supply lines, visible drain lines, water heater condition and age, fixture function, shutoff valves, water pressure, and the main sewer line by camera when requested.
Do I get a written report?
Yes, with camera footage where applicable.
Will you try to sell me repairs?
We will tell you what we found and what it would take to fix. Whether you use us for that is your business.
How long does an inspection take?
Usually one to two hours for a typical home, longer with a full sewer camera run.
