Questions about walk-in bathtub installation
How long will my bathroom be out of commission?
Usually two to three days for a standard install. We tell you the timeline up front and we stick to it, because for a lot of our walk-in tub customers this is the only bathroom.
Does it need electrical work?
If the unit has jets, a heater, or a powered door seal, yes, usually a dedicated circuit. We will identify that before the quote, not after.
Will my water heater keep up?
Walk-in tubs hold more water than a standard tub. Sometimes the existing heater is fine, sometimes it needs upsizing. We check first.
Are they hard to get out of if the power fails?
Quality units have manual drain and door release. We will walk you through operating it before we leave.
Do you handle the whole job or just plumbing?
